MAmi-VSIF for MSX
Ken-chan from home appliances has arrived “MAmi-VSIF for MSX” which connects retro series PC MSX / PC-6001 and Windows PC and enables PSG / FM audio source control.

In addition to the built-in PSG of MSX / PC-6001, it supports many sound sources such as YAMAHA SFG-01 / SFG-05 and fake OPL3-RAM.
MAmi-VSIF for MSX is a small device with a 9-pin D-sub connector and a USB Type-C connector. An audio source included in or connected to the MSX/PC-6001 series can be played by sending data from a Windows computer.
The software for Windows “MAmidiMEmo” can control the sound source with DAW, MIDI sequencer, MIDI keyboard, etc. In addition to the built-in PSG MSX / PC-6001, it is said to support a large number of sound sources such as YAMAHA SFG-01 / SFG-05 and fake OPL3-RAM.
Connect the D-sub 9-pin side to the MSX / PC-6001 (joystick port) and the USB Type-C side to the PC (cables are prepared separately). The PC’s compatible OS is Windows 10 or later, and it does not work on Windows 8.1 or earlier.
