Laiyalis’ Favorite Movie “Manichitrathazhu” Gets a Sequel!

Fans of the cult classic Malayalam film, “Manichitrathazhu,” are in for a treat as the highly anticipated sequel is currently in the works. Titled “Chandramukhi 2,” the film is set to bring back the magic of the original and captivate audiences once again.
Originally released in Malayalam, “Manichitrathazhu” gained immense popularity and was later remade in several languages. The Tamil version of the film, called “Chandramukhi,” featured the legendary actor Rajinikanth in the lead role. Now, “Chandramukhi 2” will star Raghava Lawrence and Kangana in prominent roles, with the movie poster recently unveiled.
The poster showcases Kangana looking stunning in a silk saree, portraying the character of Nagavalli. It is worth noting that in the Tamil version, Nagavalli’s character was named Chandramukhi. The first installment of the film depicted Chandramukhi haunting Jyothika’s character, leaving audiences intrigued.
Just a few days ago, Raghava Lawrence’s poster was also released, which reminded fans of Rajinikanth in the original “Chandramukhi.” As a gesture of gratitude, Lawrence expressed his gratitude to Rajinikanth for paving the way for the sequel.
Directed by P. Vasu, who also helmed the first part, “Chandramukhi 2” falls into the category of horror comedy thrillers. The film is being produced by Laika Productions and boasts a star-studded cast including Vadivelu, Lakshmi Menon, Srishti Dange, Radhika Sarathkumar, Mahima Nambiar, and Ravi Maria. Cinematography is handled by Rajashekhar, while the music is composed by MM Cirafani.

Rajinikanth was the hero of the film. Now the second part of the film is being prepared. The film stars Raghava Lawrence and Kangana in the lead roles. Now the movie poster is out.
Kangana looks gorgeous in a silk saree in the poster. Kangana will play the role of Nagavalli. When it came to Tamil, Nagavalli’s character was named Chandramukhi. In the first part, Chandramukhi is shown afflicting Jyothika.
Raghava Lawrence’s poster also arrived a few days ago. Lawrence’s poster reminds one of Rajinikanth in Chandramukhi. The actor shared the poster as a thank you to Rajinikanth.
The first part was prepared by P. Chandramukhi 2 is directed by Vasu himself. The film belongs to the horror comedy thriller category and is produced by Laika Productions.
