Mano Polking, former head coach of True Bangkok, has become the new favorite head coach of the Thai national team. By preparing to sign a short-term contract to take the “war elephants” to battle the AFF Suzuki Cup later this year.
Mano is unemployed after parting with Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam V-League, with interest in coming to the Thai national team and submitting a profile and there is a huge opportunity now to manage the Thai national football team. AFF Suzuki Cup at the end of this year after Mano is qualified, ready to have a pro license and knows Thai footballers very well.
It is expected that Mano Polking will have a short four-month contract to manage the Thai national team through the AFF Suzuki Cup football. If successful, there is a chance to continue working.
The ASEAN National Football Championship or “AFF Suzuki Cup 2020” will start the competition between 5 Dec. 64 – 1 Jan. 65, with the “war elephants” in Group A together with Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore and qualifying teams (Brunei or Timor Leste).
