On the 1st (local time), Meta announced its new game “Batman: Arkham Shadow” for its Meta Quest 3 VR headset through its official YouTube channel.
“Batman: Arkham Shadow” is a work of the representative “Arkham Bus” franchise from DC Comics-based Rocksteady Studio and depicts Batman’s new journey to protect the city of Gotham. Development was handled by Camouflaj, who produced “Marvel Iron Man VR” and “Republic VR.”

The released teaser video showcases various aspects of the game. In particular, it shows many elements related to the villains who should appear in this work. Harley Quinzel’s doctor’s name tag, Harvey Dent’s voter badge, and rat and gas mask remind us of the villains Harley Quinn, Two-Face, and Mousecatcher.
▲ Especially considering the frequent appearances of “rats”, this time “Rat Catcher” could be the main villain.
“‘Batman: Arkham Shadow’ was created from the beginning to be the best VR game, and to that end, we took full advantage of MetaQuest 3,” said Ryan Payton, CEO of Camouflage.
“Batman: Arkham Shadow” will be released in late 2024, and more detailed information will be revealed during the “Summer Game Fest 2024” showcase held on June 7.
