Microsoft (MS) has released a new update, KB5036567, that improves Windows 11 Moment 5 update compatibility and rollback.
Microsoft released the Moment 5 update for Windows 11 via update KB5034848 in late February. Since last week it has been available to all Windows 11 users as an optional update via KB5035942.
However, various issues have been reported online, with several users failing to install updates or experiencing blue screens on their systems. Microsoft said: “Update KB5036567 improves Windows compatibility and recovery features in Windows 11 version 22H2 and Windows 11 version 23H2.”
If you encounter problems installing KB5035942, install the new update. The update has been released as a standalone package and can be obtained by visiting the Microsoft Update Catalog website (link).
