Windows Central, foreign media, reported on the 29th (local time), citing a source, that the 11th generation Intel CPU will be installed in the new ‘Surface Studio 3’, which is expected to be released by Microsoft (MS) next month

Intel recently unveiled its 13th generation Core processor (Raptor Lake). The Surface Studio 3 was expected to feature a 12th generation Core processor (Elder Lake), but the source said it will feature an 11th generation Core processor.

Inside is an Nvidia RTX graphics card, but it’s probably an older generation version. It is also expected to support Thunderbolt 4 and offer up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB (terabyte) of storage.

It’s a little disappointing that the new model will have older parts, but it’s a significant improvement over the Surface Studio 2 specs, which include a 7th generation Intel Core i7 and Nvidia GTX 1070 GPUs, the media reported.

According to the pictures released by the United States Federal Commission (FCC) earlier, the ‘Surface Studio 3’ design is identified as the same as the previous model. However, some design changes are expected for accessories such as the Surface Keyboard and Surface Pen.

Microsoft is expected to hold a Surface event on the 12th of next month and unveil new hardware such as ▲Surface Pro 9 ▲Surface Pro 9 ▲Surface Laptop 5 ▲Surface Studio 3.
