[アブダビ 28日 ロイター] – Mubadala Investment, the sovereign wealth fund of Emirates Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), announced on the 28th that it plans to make large-scale investments in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and space technology this year.

“We plan to expand our investments in the US market and make strategic investments in the UK, Europe and France,” said Khaldoon Mubarak, managing director of the fund, at a conference for investors in Abu Dhabi.

He explained that he will also invest in areas such as healthcare, digital infrastructure, and finance. “We have also expanded our long-term allocation to Asia, including Japan, China, South Korea and India.”

The specific scale of the investment in countries such as the United States and China was not disclosed. However, the increased allocation to Asia shows that the fund believes that the slowdown in the Chinese economy will be temporary and expects significant investment opportunities in the long term.

Mubadala Investment has $276 billion in assets under management.
