Myanmar’s Agricultural Export Income Declines in First Seven Months of Fiscal Year 2023-24

Yangon, November 12 – The Ministry of Commerce of Myanmar has reported that the country earned a total of 1.81 billion US dollars (approximately 65.8 billion baht) from agricultural exports during the first seven months of the 2023-24 fiscal year, spanning from April 1 to November 3.

The report indicates a decline from the 2.01 billion US dollars (about 73.1 billion baht) earned in the same period last year.

Myanmar’s agricultural exports primarily comprise animal and marine products, minerals, forest products, and artificial products, which are traded with partners including China, Thailand, Bangladesh, and India.

As of November 3, Myanmar’s total exports have reached a value of US$8.66 billion (approximately 315 billion baht).

Yangon, November 12 (Xinhua) – Information from the Ministry of Commerce of Myanmar. Myanmar is reported to have earned income from agricultural exports in the first seven months of the 2023-24 fiscal year (April 1 – November 3), a total of 1.81 billion US dollars (about 65.8 billion baht).

The report said Myanmar’s agricultural export income during the period fell from 2.01 billion US dollars (about 73.1 billion baht) in the same period last year.

By the way, Myanmar exports agricultural products. Animal and marine products, minerals, forest products and artificial products to foreign trading partners such as China, Thailand, Bangladesh and India.
