Nippon-Ham Kotaro Kiyomiya falls… Yuma Tonmiya rises to the top with only 500 votes difference, ball feast fan vote | Full Account

Kiyomiya, who was the best player in the first baseman division of the Pacific League, is currently out.

On the 1st, the Nippon Professional Baseball Organization (NPB) made an interim announcement of the fan vote for the “2023 Mynavi All Star Game”. Yuma Tonmiya (Orix) emerged as the first baseman in the Pacific League. Kotaro Kiyomiya (Nippon-Ham), who had held the top spot since the first day, fell to second place with only 494 votes behind him.

Kiyomiya was diagnosed with a left oblique muscle injury on April 21 and is out. 288 with 1 home run and 9 RBI in 17 games this season, his 6th year as a professional. On the other hand, Tongu has maintained a good batting average of .331 with 1 home run and 14 RBI in 39 games so far.

Central League outfielder Koji Chikamoto (Hanshin) received the most votes in both leagues with 269,015 votes. In the Hanshin area, 8 people, including starting pitcher Shoki Murakami, were in first place, and 9 people were kept within the selection range.

This year’s ball party will be held on July 19th at Bantelin Dome and on July 20th at Mazda Stadium.
