Kanta and Naoto, the grandsons of professional wrestler and former member of the House of Councilors Antonio Inoki (aged 79), who died on October 1 last year, watched the match from the ringside.

Eldest daughter Inoki, eldest son Hiroko, Kanta (20) and second son Naoto (15) each wore their late grandfather’s trademark red Tokon towel around their necks and stared at the ring with serious eyes.

After the main event, all the players from New Japan, All Japan, and Noah gathered in the ring. Kazuchika Okada called out from the ring, “Today, two of Inoki’s grandsons are here. I want to do an Inoki-ism.” After that, Mr. Inoki gave his usual shout of “1, 2, 3, dah” to the a packed audience that stood up.
