A new cooperative fantasy game, Cast Outs, is in progress by Twisted ⁤Works, a‍ studio formed by many of the talented developers formerly of PlayStation London. The studio unveiled⁣ their debut title, promising a unique blend of collaborative gameplay and fantastical combat set within a‍ besieged London.

Cast Outs tasks players with repelling an invasion of the British capital,requiring strategic teamwork to overcome the encroaching forces. The game incorporates roguelike elements, meaning upgrades and character progression will feature a degree of randomness, adding⁣ replayability and challenging players to adapt to each playthrough. Players will be able to select⁤ from a roster of⁤ characters inspired⁤ by classic fantasy archetypes,including a goblin,a goat demon,and‍ a rock troll – though the developers may employ unique names for these creatures within the game’s world.

The reveal trailer showcases a variety of enemies, ranging from smaller monsters to formidable dragons and, notably, a massive spider constructed of bones.Players with arachnophobia should be aware ⁣of this particularly unsettling foe.
