Doha: More than 4,007 people have been confirmed to be covid in Qatar, the Ministry of Public Health said on Saturday. A further 2,018 people who were being treated were cured in the country. A total of 2,55,431 people have been diagnosed with the disease so far.
Of the newly confirmed Kovid cases, 3,394 were through contact and 613 were from abroad. A new death was reported from Kovid. A total of 624 people have died of covid in Qatar. A total of 2,95,221 people have been confirmed by Kovid in the country.
Currently, 39,166 people are being treated for Kovid. A further 38,722 Kovid tests were performed. So far, 3,260,304 Kovid tests have been conducted in Qatar. In the last 24 hours, Kovid has admitted eight more people to the intensive care unit. Currently, there are 81 people in the intensive care unit.
