During an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit, the studio was asked if the tragic death of screenwriter Yoshitaka Murayama affected the future of the Eiyuden Chronicle series. They responded:“We are moving forward with the sequel. It is sad that Murayama is no longer with us, but we discussed many things with him. I hope that we can carry on Murayama’s legacy and I have always wanted to appreciate his latest work. I hope that many people will support this game.Murayama died in February, just two months before the premiere of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. He was one of the true veterans of Konami’s Suikoden team before he resigned and founded Rabbit & Bear Studios because Konami no longer seemed interested in game development.
