Razer’s HyperFlux V2 Wireless Charging System Expands Mouse Compatibility
Updated June 3, 2025
Razer’s HyperFlux V2, the updated wireless charging mouse pad, is now available. The new version expands compatibility to several Razer mice, a departure from the original’s single-mouse limitation.
The hyperflux V2 retains the original’s wireless charging capabilities. An included adapter allows continuous battery charging for compatible mice.
Available for $119.99, the HyperFlux V2 comes in two surface options: a hard surface available now, and a cloth surface expected later this year.Unlike the original HyperFlux, which bundled with the Mamba HyperFlux mouse for $249.99, the V2 is sold separately. It supports Razer’s Basilisk V3 Pro 35K, Basilisk V3 Pro, Cobra Pro, and Naga V2 Pro mice, priced from $129.99 to $179.99.
The original Mamba hyperflux mouse used a super capacitor, holding power for 5 to 10 seconds when lifted from the pad. The HyperFlux V2 uses a charging puck inserted into supported mice. An LED indicator displays the battery charge level.
Like its predecessor, the HyperFlux V2 acts as a wireless receiver, connecting Razer mice and keyboards to a PC via USB using Razer’s HyperSpeed technology. While compatible with wireless keyboards like the BlackWidow V3 Pro and DeathStalker V2 Pro, it cannot wirelessly charge them.
The HyperFlux V2’s functionality resembles Logitech’s Powerplay Wireless Charging System. Requests for comment have been sent to Logitech and Razer regarding potential differences in their approaches.
