Reported ‘Ghost Touch’ Issue on Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2

▲Apple Watch Series 9 ▲Apple Watch Ultra 2 Foreign media such as MacRumors have reported that “ghost touch” problems are being reported on the displays of some models.

According to an internal Apple note obtained by MacRumors, some users are complaining that incorrect taps are occurring on the display of the Apple Watch Series 9 or Apple Watch Ultra 2.

Phantom touch refers to a phenomenon in which the user touches the screen without actually touching it. According to Apple, some models with reports of phantom touches perform unexpected actions without the user touching the device. For example, the Apple Watch may initiate a phone call unintentionally, and users may have trouble entering passcodes.

The Apple Watch series ghost touch issue is believed to be a software issue. Apple is aware of this issue and is investigating. The issue is expected to be resolved via a software update, but the release date of the update is not yet known.
