Nayeon Choi, known for her easygoing personality and kindness towards others, is particularly cautious when it comes to choosing golf clubs. After retiring from her professional career, she wanted to find a club that could accompany her in her new life, and that’s when she discovered ‘Xexio X’. It has already been 8 months since her retirement, and she is currently enjoying her second life. Retirement has allowed her to experience a different side of life, as she no longer has many retired players around her. They often leave during the tour season, leaving her feeling empty. To combat this, she intentionally keeps herself busy and surrounds herself with many people who can offer advice. Recently, she attended the US Women’s Open and realized how much she missed being a player, but also felt sorry for the current players who have to compete in unfavorable weather conditions. Despite the challenges, she has come to appreciate her ability to let go and move on.

Regarding her choice of clubs, Nayeon Choi has always been close with Park In-bi and Kim Ha-neul. She was often intrigued by the club Inbi Park used and admired her comfortable swing. Inbi, who takes pride in playing with Xexio clubs, always recommended them to Nayeon and she eventually became interested in them. Even after retiring, she continued to play with Xexio clubs, especially the Xexio Haneul club, as she found it visually pleasing and performed well. She doesn’t mind changing clubs frequently, especially when it comes to her driver and putter. Although she has been using Xexio clubs for about 7-8 years, she still explores new options to find the most comfortable and efficient club for her needs.

When choosing clubs, Nayeon Choi has her own criteria. She values the appearance and comfort of the club when holding it for the first time. In the past, she preferred smaller club heads for accuracy. However, she gradually realized that bigger club heads provided better comfort. When she tried the Xexio X Driver, she was pleasantly surprised by its handsome design and the weight of the club head. The shallow face of the driver allowed for a high trajectory, something she had always tried to achieve during her playing career. Even without excessive practice, she found that the Xexio X Driver performed exceptionally well.

As Nayeon Choi’s exercise routine has decreased since retiring, the comfortable feel of the Xexio X has been immensely useful. She no longer practices as much as before, but the forgiving nature of the clubs has made a noticeable difference in her game. She is still adjusting to the change in routine after retirement, but she has faith that the Xexio X Driver will provide her with the comfort she needs on the course.

Nayeon Choi has used hybrid clubs for a long time, and changing them is a significant decision for her. However, she plans to keep her current hybrid club as it holds sentimental value to her. She has recently tried the Xexio X Hybrid on the practice range and has been impressed by its appearance and impact.

For amateur golfers, Nayeon Choi highly recommends the Xexio Club. She believes that amateur golfers, who cannot devote as much time to practice as professionals, need clubs that can minimize their mistakes. The forgiveness and comfort provided by Xexio clubs make them an excellent choice for amateur players who want to improve their game.

As for the next V157 member to join the Xexio Club, Nayeon Choi suggests her close friends Lee Jeong-eun and Ryu So-yeon. Although they both have sensitive playing styles, she believes that they could benefit from the sensitivity-free approach offered by Xexio clubs. In particular, she thinks So-yeon Ryu’s deliberate and precise playing style would be well-suited for Xexio clubs.

Nayeon Choi, known for her easygoing personality and being nice to people, is particularly sensitive when it comes to clubs. As the saying goes, “New wine in a new bottle,” changed clubs after a long time. The club that is like a friend to share a new life with after retirement is ‘Xexio X’.

●●● It has already been 8 months since last year’s retirement game. You’re living a second life after retirement How have you been?

Retirement is living a real life. There weren’t many retired players around me. They say that after hanging out with close players during the off season, they all leave when the tour season comes, leaving a feeling of emptiness. After hearing that, I intentionally stayed busier. In order to live a new life, he continues to meet many people and receive a lot of advice, and lives a busy life. I went to the US Women’s Open recently, and there were feelings that passed without me noticing that I was concentrating as a player. Now, when I take a step back and look at the players, I feel very sorry for them. It’s cold and raining, but I have to focus on the competition and do well. I came back with another thought that I am very good at giving up (laughs).

●●● Having retired from active duty, I am curious about your relationship with Xexio. Predictably, Park In-bi or Kim Ha-neul? Whose recommendation is it?

Originally, I was very close with those two friends. Even during my career as a player, I sometimes felt like I wanted to play a bit of the club that Inbi Park played. Inbi is a very good player, but his swing is so comfortable. “If you play with this, maybe you can hit as well as you,” he said while practicing on the practice range. Inbi, how to say, has a sense of pride in playing the Xexio club. I think it’s because we’ve been together for a long time. Maybe that’s why I always recommended it to my friends, saying “I like it”. After recently retiring, I had many opportunities to play rounds with Kim Ha-neul, but even then, I continued to play with the Xexio Haneul club. It looked pretty, and it felt really good. That’s how I got involved with Zexio.

●●● Did you change clubs often when you were a player? It must have been a long time since I changed clubs.

If I like anything, it’s a style I’ve been writing for a long time. Nevertheless, I tend to change clubs often. In particular, a lot was changed on the driver and the putter. It’s been a while since we changed the club’s brand. I think he is about 7-8 years old. Now that I’m officially retired, I don’t practice as much as I did when I was a player. Unbeknownst to me, I was still looking for a more comfortable club. When I was a player, I was very sensitive, and there were times when that was shown as an advantage. Now that my playing career is over, I prefer comfortable clubs where I can get good performances without having to practice for a long time. It seems like a week since I haven’t picked up a golf club. I always thought I wanted to have a comfortable club from my address, and at that time, what was in my head was Zexio.

●●● Different tour benefits have different club selection criteria. Do you have your own standards?

I like to see a lot of what the club looks like. Just as first impressions are important to people, they prefer the look of a club when they hold it for the first time or the comfort in the address. When I was a player who demanded accuracy, I had no choice but to be sensitive enough to practice from 1 yard, so I used a smaller club head, but gradually I found it more comfortable to have bigger head I didn’t know because I hadn’t even tried it before, but as I tried Xexio X this time, I realized that there is a club that can be comfortable and demands accuracy.

●●● I’m curious about your first impression of Xexio X. From the exterior design to the direction and performance, what attracted you?

To be honest, when I first saw Xexio X Driver, I was surprised that it was more handsome than I thought. It was very nice to feel the weight of the club head well when swinging. Drivers don’t like deep faces. Xexio X is a shallow face. So when I grabbed the driver and stood at address, I felt comfortable that I could hit the ball high and hit it well. First of all, the high route was the best. When I was on tour, I deliberately changed my swing or adjusted the loft to get a higher path. The Xexio X Driver has a shallow face, so I felt it would fly high. Even when I swing very comfortably without having to intentionally hit it up, the path came out so well that I was very surprised.

●●● The amount of exercise has decreased compared to when he was an active player. Was the comfortable feel of the Xexio X very useful?

I definitely don’t practice, so even though I’ve been playing golf for over 26 years, there are a few instances where I don’t hit it right. There wasn’t a big difference in distance between when Xexio X was hit and when it wasn’t. They say this is a forgiving club, but since I’m no longer a player, I think it’s definitely necessary. Now it seems I have no choice but to escape sensitivity and sophistication little by little and find comfort. It’s also a routine where the hardest part of retirement is gone. As a player, I usually warmed up from an hour to an hour and a half before teeing off, hitting a practice ball, and hitting my first tee shot with everything ready. But now, driving in the morning, going to the golf course, eating, and immediately going to the first hole and swinging the driver is too demanding. Now I have faith that this driver will give me comfort instead of that burden.

●●● In particular, I know that you have been using hybrid clubs for a long time. You made a drastic change this time, is there a reason?

For me, a hybrid change is a very big change. Probably 13 years with one club. This club is very important to me. It is also a club I have been with since the first championship. I remember hitting at least 50 hybrid clubs during that time. But it didn’t change. I’m trying to change it this time. Since the current hybrid has a special meaning, I plan to keep it in my house and try it with the newly changed Xexio X. To be honest, I haven’t played the Xexio X Hybrid in the field yet. I only hit it on the practice range, but the data results were very good. I like the look of the club boss, and it feels good for impact.

●●● Why would you recommend the Xexio Club to an amateur golfer?

There are so many recommendations around. An amateur golfer, male or female, cannot practice like a pro. Even if you deviate a little from the normal shot, the club that can mitigate that number of mistakes is considered Jexio and is highly recommended to those around you . To the point that even acquaintances who use sensitive and difficult clubs are told to change clubs. Amateur golfers should choose clubs that they are comfortable hitting and have good forgiveness.

●●● After Park Inbi, Kim Ha-neul, and Choi Na-yeon, who will be the next V157 member to play Jexio?

There are many players who still play active duty. I would like to recommend it because I am close to Lee Jeong-eun and Ryu So-yeon, but they are both too sensitive than I thought. Since I am also on a sensitivity free path, I think it would be okay to recommend these two players. In particular, since So-yeon Ryu is a player who moves regularly and deliberately, I would like to recommend her, thinking that it might be okay to let go of that sensitive part once in a while. There aren’t many players left. When the members of the V157 go round together, 3 out of 7 players play Xexio. If we led one more player to Xexio and the score was 4-3, wouldn’t everyone want to play Xexio club (laughs).

●●● Second life with Xexio, what kind of picture do you take?

Nothing concrete has been decided yet. For 26 years since I was young, I have been walking on one path called golf. Now that I am trying to do something new again, I am very anxious and burdened. My age now is not the age to retire, but the age when I can start anything anew. I want to do many things, such as broadcasting, becoming a leader, and nurturing younger players. I don’t know what I like yet, so I think it’s time to think more carefully. One thing is certain now. “I play Xexio. Choi Na-yeon also plays Xexio. ”
