THIRUVANANTHAPURAM> The crime branch has found that a group led by RSS activist Prakash, who was killed last January, set fire to Swami Sandeepanandagiri’s ashram in Kundamankadavu. Prashant’s brother gave a statement to the crime branch that Prakash had said that he was the one who set the ashram on fire.
Prashanth’s statement is that Prashanth was brutally beaten by the RSS members on January 2, fearing that the incident of burning the ashram would come to light, and that Prashanth committed suicide at home due to frustration. Prashant also says that Prakash had injuries on his face and neck. Prakash, who was the head of the Kundamanbhaga branch, was reportedly expelled by the RSS a few days before he was killed.
