“It seems that President Erdogan will give active comments on this issue (negotiations with Ukraine) during a meeting in Astana (the capital of Kazakhstan). A very interesting and useful discussion awaits us.”

In addition, Russian President Vladimir Putin referred to the Nordstream, a gas pipeline connecting Europe, which was recently damaged by external shocks.

“We can resume gas supply to Europe through whole gas pipelines,” he said.

However, Western countries criticized the dual strategy of dealing with indiscriminate airstrikes on a daily basis.

At the NATO Ukrainian Defense Contact Group meeting, more than 50 countries, including Korea, participated to discuss ways to further support Ukraine.

At this meeting, they agreed to support additional air defense systems against missile and drone attacks.
