Justice Party lawmaker Ryu Ho-jeong held a tattoo experience event at the National Assembly. To legalize tattooing.

On the morning of the 3rd, Rep. Ryu held an event called ‘Tattoo Open Beta Service’ on the bench in front of the main gate of the National Assembly Hall, and held an event to attach tattoo stickers to passing citizens and members of the National Assembly. Rep. Ryu also put a tattoo sticker on his neck and took a photo with the event participants. This event was prepared to urge the handling of a bill proposed by Rep. Ryu in June to legalize tattooing.

Rep. Ryu said on Facebook the day before, “It’s already been 5 months since I held a press conference with the title ‘A tattoo is a person’s appearance’.” “A lot of things have happened, but tattoos are still illegal.”

Previously, Rep. Ryu held a press conference on the lawn of the National Assembly in June, wearing a purple dress showing a tattoo sticker on his back, ‘urging the enactment of a tattoo law’.
