Jeddah: Saudi Arabia on the start of vaccination for 5 to 11 year olds. The Ministry of Health has started giving the first dose of Kovid vaccine to children. Vaccination of children was initiated as part of their efforts to protect children from the virus and its complications.

Last month, Saudi Arabia announced that it would vaccinate children from the age of five. Vaccination was given to those who were at risk of contracting the disease. But now the vaccine is available to all children. Parents must make a booking to vaccinate their children. Bookings can be made through Tawakkalna and Sihati apps.
The ministry said the vaccine would be available to all children in this age group.
