Six terrorists were killed during an operation by security forces in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, ISPR, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan on the intervening night of May 3 and 4.
During the operation, there was a fierce exchange of fire between the security forces and the terrorists in which 6 terrorists were killed.
During the operation, the hideout of the terrorists was destroyed. The slain terrorists were involved in several terrorist activities including target killing of civilians in the area.
According to ISPR, security forces are conducting a clearance operation in the area.
The Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army says that the security forces are determined to eradicate terrorism from the country.
