English word “DILYN” translates to ‘to follow’, which serves as the title for Seventeen’s upcoming tour. Pledis Entertainment, their agency, explained that this title conveys Seventeen’s progression towards a brighter and broader future, moving forward as Team Seventeen with Carat, their dedicated fandom, based on their positive values. Despite a lengthy explanation, the members summed it up succinctly with the phrase “Follow me!” Carats, who filled the Gocheok Dome, displayed their trust and loyalty by following Seventeen, eager to immerse themselves in the new world of captivating performances.

Seventeen recently held their ‘SEVENTEEN TOUR’ FOLLOW-UP ‘TO SEOUL’ at Gocheok Sky Dome on July 23 and 24. It has been around 13 months since their last performance in Seoul, which was the ‘SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR: BE THE SUN’ in June of the previous year. This time, the performance was not only conducted offline but also live-streamed online, allowing fans who couldn’t attend to enjoy the spectacle.

However, member Seungkwan did not participate in the performance that day. Seungkwan took a temporary break from all activities for the past three days upon medical advice advocating for stability and sufficient rest. Despite his absence, Seventeen and their dedicated Carats did not forget Seungkwan’s presence. Mingyu revealed, “Seungkwan came and watched the concert yesterday.” Additionally, during The8’s segment, the fans fervently shouted “Seungkwan!” Furthermore, Seungkwan’s image appeared repeatedly in the released VCR midway through the performance, ensuring his continued involvement in spirit.

The performance commenced with the title track of their 10th mini album, ‘Son Oh Gong’. Subsequently, Seventeen’s captivating energy permeated through tracks like ‘DON QUIXOTE’ and ‘Applause’ during the opening. Naturally, Carats reciprocated with equal fervor. The heartfelt tunes of ‘I Don’t Want to Cry’, ‘F*uck My Life’, and ‘Thank You’ followed, but the intensity never waned easily.

The eye-catching unit stages provided a refreshing diversion. The vocal unit’s emotional performances of ‘Llwch’ and ‘Pinwheel’ struck a chord, while the performance unit commanded the stage with powerful routines in ‘HIGHLIGHT’ and ‘I Don’t Understanding But I Luv U’. The hip-hop unit’s fiery acts in ‘Back it up’ and ‘Tân’ immediately elevated the ambiance.

As Carats trusted and followed Seventeen, who promised to lead them and be their guiding light, an enchanting “new world” unfurled before their eyes. The stages for ‘Home Run’, ‘Left & Right’, ‘BEAUTIFUL’, and ‘Adore’ transformed into exhilarating festivals. Meanwhile, ‘Cawod April’ and ‘Adult Child’ evoked a poignant sensibility never experienced before. The stages of ‘Anyone’, ‘Good to Me’, and ‘HOT’ overwhelmed everyone with their grandeur and powerful performances.

Notably, the stage equipment underwent significant upgrades to match the grand scale of the event. Various state-of-the-art technologies, including an LED screen 1.5 times larger than their previous Seoul performance, were incorporated. The central circular lift assumed distinct forms while other equipment, such as an unfolding flower path and a grand lift truck, added enchantment to the overall performance.

Even the extended encore stage failed to quell the fervor. Seventeen captivated the audience with their energetic encores, including ‘I’m looking for you now’, ‘Vortex’, and ‘HIT’, performed on a stage closer to their dedicated fans. As the final notes of ‘Very Nice’ resonated, the time had come to bid farewell to Seventeen. Throughout the performance, Seventeen’s resolute call of “Follow me” validated their unwavering confidence onstage.

Following their Seoul showcase, Seventeen will embark on their ‘SEVENTEEN TOUR’ FOLLOWING ‘TO JAPAN’, touring five cities in Japan. Notably, they will grace Tokyo Dome on September 6-7, Berna Dome on November 23-24, Vantelim Dome Nagoya on November 30 and December 2-3, Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 7 and 9-10, and Pay Dome from December 6-10.

“Follow me!”

DILYN is an English word meaning ‘to follow’ and this is the title of Seventeen’s new tour. The agency Pledis Entertainment explained, “This title contains the message that Seventeen, who became the sun through ‘BE THE SUN’, is moving on to a brighter and wider place and that they will move forward together as Team Seventeen with Carat based on Seventeen’s own positive values.” A long explanation was enclosed, but the members had a word, “Follow me!” is enough. Carats who filled the Gocheok Dome trusted and followed Seventeen, and were able to face a new world of performances.

Seventeen held a ‘SEVENTEEN TOUR’ FOLLOW-UP ‘TO SEOUL’ at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on July 23 and 24. Seventeen’s performance in Seoul was ‘SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR’ held in June last year. [BE THE SUN]’ It’s been about 13 months since then. In particular, the performance was not only held offline but also streamed live online, showing the stage to fans who could not make it to the performance.

Member Seungkwan did not participate in the performance that day. Seungkwan temporarily suspended all activities for the past 3 days after receiving the opinion of the medical staff that he needs stability and adequate rest. Although he did not participate in the concert, Seventeen and Carat (fandom) did not forget Seungkwan. Mingyu said, “Seungkwan came and went to the concert yesterday. Following The8’s “I miss you”, Carats shouted “Seungkwan!” Seungkwan’s image kept appearing on the released VCR halfway through the performance.

Then, through ‘DON QUIXOTE’ and ‘Applause’, Seventeen showed tremendous energy from the opening. Of course, Carats also responded with equal energy. This was followed by sweet songs like ‘I Don’t Want to Cry’, ‘F*uck My Life’, and ‘Thank You’, but the heat did not subside easily.

Different unit stages also caught the eye. The vocal unit’s ‘Llwch’ and ‘Pinwheel’ stirred emotions, and the performance unit’s ‘HIGHLIGHT’ and ‘I Don’t Understanding But I Luv U’ overwhelmed the atmosphere with strong performances. The hip-hop unit’s ‘Back it up’ and ‘Tân’ raised the mood immediately.

As they trusted and followed SEVENTEEN, who promised to “trust them and follow them,” a “new world” continued to unfold. Stages ‘Home Run’, ‘Left & Right’, ‘BEAUTIFUL’, and ‘Adore’ were exciting festivals, and ‘Cawod April’ and ‘Adult Child’ evoked a damp sensibility as if it had never happened before. The ‘Anyone’, ‘Good to Me’, and ‘HOT’ stages overwhelmed everyone with magnificent stages and performances.

Various stage equipment was put in, including an LED screen that was 1.5 times larger than the previous performance in Seoul. The circular lift located in the center of the stage moved in different forms, and various stage equipment such as a flower path unfolding or a large lift truck going on stage added richness to the performance.

Even the long encore stage couldn’t quell the heat. Seventeen performed ‘I’m looking for you now’, ‘Vortex’, and ‘HIT’ as encores on a stage closer to the fans. After watching the final stage of ‘Very nice’, the time has come to let Seventeen go. Seventeen, who shouted “Follow me” throughout the performance, proved the reason why they are so confident on stage.

After the performance in Seoul, Seventeen will hold a ‘SEVENTEEN TOUR’ FOLLOWING ‘TO JAPAN’ in 5 cities in Japan: Tokyo Dome on September 6-7, Berna Dome on November 23-24, Vantelim Dome Nagoya on November 30 and December 2-3, Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 7 and 9-10 Domeka on December 7 and 9-10, Pay Dome, December 6-10
