SK Telecom Showcases Collaborations with AI Startups at 4YFN Event

SK Telecom (CEO Youngsang Yoo) hosted 15 AI startups under the slogan ‘Global AI Company, Collaborate with Startups’ at the ‘2024 Mobile World Congress (MWC 2024)’ side event ‘4YFN (4 Years from Now)’ in Barcelona, ​​Spain It was announced on the 28th that it showcases cases of collaboration and innovative ideas and technologies.

4YFN is an expo to discover promising startups with enough potential to participate in the main MWC exhibition four years later, provide a venue for exchange, and help start a business. It will be held for 4 days at the Gran Via 8.1 Fair Hall, where MWC is held.

SKT set up an exclusive booth at the 4YFN exhibition hall and presented various cases of collaboration with 15 AI startups discovered and nurtured through the startup program.

In particular, it focuses on innovative AI-based technologies and services that can be easily accessed or used in everyday life, such as voice-based sleep diagnosis, visual aid voice guidance, and medical care.

Various ICT solutions and start-ups were also introduced to promote global AI companies.

Introducing various services and companies to improve environmental and social issues, such as ‘Dolittle’, an IoT (Internet of Things) pet monitoring medical system, Parastar Entertainment, an entertainment agency specializing in entertainers and disabled content, and Watervation, an air purification solution company uses water.

In addition, ‘BB’, a Korean AI-based education platform for foreigners that received ESG fund investment through SKT’s innovative start-up support program, and ‘STEGO’, a driving-based 5G autonomous mobility robot platform service, were also introduced.
