Sony confirms it will shut down its PixelOpus game studio #playstation (193034)

PixelOpus studio was founded in 2014 to promote the development of first party game content on the PlayStation platform. Currently, PixelOpus games are still available for purchase on the PlayStation Store.

Sony earlier confirmed that it will shut down PixelOpus, a subsidiary of PlayStation’s global game studio, on June 2. The reason is to ensure that the overall operation meets short-term and long-term development goals.

Currently, PixelOpus games can still be purchased for a fee in the PlayStation Store, and it is uncertain whether they will be pulled from the shelves as PixelOpus is closed.
