Bandai Namco Entertainment Korea announced that ‘Tales of Arise’, the latest work in the ‘Tales of’ series, sold over 1 million copies worldwide in the first week of its release.

‘Tales of Arise’, a home game software, was developed and released to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the release of the first game in the ‘Tales of’ series. This work is a pictorial depiction using the latest graphic technology “Atmos Shader” developed independently by Bandai Namco Studio, a group company, through repeated research, and 3D animation that conveys the nuances of a character’s expression through “Facial CG” technology. I was looking for a visual expression.

In addition, new scenarios, intuitive operation and realistic directing, and action battles where you can feel the battle with your colleagues were introduced.

‘Tales of Arise’, which distributed a trial version before the official release, reached 1 million copies worldwide sold the fastest in the history of the series.

On the other hand, ‘Taze of’ has sold over 25 million copies worldwide. The ‘Tales of’ series is a role-playing game that has been sold in more than 100 countries and regions, starting with ‘Tales of Fantasia’, the first home game software released in 1995.

In addition, following home game software, it has established itself as one of Bandai Namco Entertainment’s representative IPs by releasing game applications for smartphones, performing on stage and orchestra, conducting travel tours, and distributing goods.

‘Tales of Arise’ (Korean version) was released on PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox one, and STEAM versions, and can be purchased at online and offline game stores nationwide.
