Kabul: Top Taliban leader Mullah Hibbatullah Akhunzada has been killed. Akhunzada was killed in a suicide bombing in Pakistan last year.

Akhunzada became Taliban leader after Mullah Akhtar Mansour was killed in a drone strike in 2016. Since Akhunzada never appeared in public, there were many rumors.
