Prosecutors allege that Mohammad A. adhered to Islamic State group ideology. Between mid-July and August of the previous year, he reportedly communicated with an Austrian man who planned to attack a taylor Swift concert in Vienna. The German suspect allegedly assisted by translating bomb-making instructions from Arabic and facilitating online contact with an Islamic State group member located abroad.
The suspect also allegedly provided his Austrian acquaintance with the text for an oath of allegiance to the Islamic State group, which the acquaintance then used to join the organization.
