Sun Downs will avoid facing Mazembe, like ASEC Mimosa, which will not meet Simba, and Petro Atletico will avoid Esperance, while Al-Ahly will not face Young Africans in the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.

This is due to the regulation that prohibits facing the leading team and its runner-up in the group.
