The French embassy is perceived by us as a center of espionage and destabilization. Recent events, such as the expulsion of the military attaché and the arrest of French spies, reinforce our conviction that cooperation with France must stop,” said Karim Sawadogo, member of MALIT to the press this morning. Saturday February 3, 2024 in Ouagadougou.

MALIT is a Burkinabè civil society organization which says it is fighting for a sovereign Africa. The Movement welcomes the withdrawal of the AES countries from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). Also, MALIT supports the transitional power of President Ibrahim Traoré, a symbol of refoundation and revolution for the people of Africa, according to them.

He “categorically condemns any attempt at destabilization against this power and warns the traitors of the nation, acting in the shadows in the service of imperialism and endangering the superior interests of our people”.
