Court Sentences M. Swaraj and A.A. Rahim in Protest Case

A recent ruling by the Thiruvananthapuram 1st District Judicial Magistrate Court has resulted in the sentencing of M. Swaraj and A.A. Rahim to one year imprisonment and a fine. The court, presided over by Magistrate Shweta Sasikumar, granted bail to both individuals following the sentencing.

The charges stem from an incident during a protest march, in which the police broke barricades and damaged vehicles. A total of ten individuals were accused, with Swaraj and Rahim being labeled as accused six and seven.
