Tovino Thomas addresses the issue of circulating fake versions of new movies

Circulating fake versions of new movies has been a challenge for the film industry for ages.

The actor Tovino Thomas speaks about the matter. Tovino says it’s better not to do it than to take a precaution against it. Tovino said that doing so is a disservice to the film and that some are still shooting because people are there to see such fake prints.

The actor was speaking to the media as part of the upcoming film Anveshipin Athnapam.

‘Isn’t it better that we don’t do it than that we take precautions? You must know it’s a disservice to the film. Shooting all the scenes that are important to the mystery of a film can affect the film very well. It is a disservice to those who have not seen the film as much as it is a disservice to us. The polite way is to avoid it as much as possible.

What can he do? Can you go to each theater and see who picks up the mobile phone? How many people come to watch the film? Isn’t it better not to feel yourself? It has been going on for ages. Now we have OTT and we have theater, yet we don’t understand what it all depends on.

All this is being shot because there are people to watch. This problem will only be solved if they decide we have to shoot too,’ said Tovino.
