Liu Can’s Douyin and Xiaohongshu accounts posted a message on September 6, stating that he had passed away on September 5, 2024, at the age of 27, due to an accident. The post described him as a “sunny, cheerful, and kind child” who was loved by all.

Liu Can was a talented bodybuilding athlete who had participated in many international and domestic competitions, achieving impressive results. He was also a popular cosplayer who had attended various anime exhibitions and music festivals as a special guest.

Liu Can’s private fitness studio in Nan’an District, Chongqing, was contacted by a reporter on September 8, but the phone number was out of service.

Friends and colleagues of Liu Can confirmed the news of his passing, including Wang Qiangping, a fitness athlete and one of the “Three Musketeers of Ganfan,” who said that Liu Can was his apprentice. Liu Can had been cremated on the morning of September 7.
