Saudi Al-Ittihad Signs Portuguese Defender Danilo Pereira

Saudi‌ Al-Ittihad club management has agreed with French club‍ Paris Saint-Germain to sign Portuguese defender Danilo‍ Pereira in the current summer transfer window.

According to sources, Portuguese Domingo Suarez, the CEO, and Spanish Ramon Blanc, in addition to French⁣ coach Laurent‌ Blanc, recommended the inclusion of the Portuguese player. Pereira, who will turn 33 next month, joined ⁤the French side on loan‍ from Porto in ⁢October 2020 before moving‌ to the French club permanently in the summer ​of 2021.

Pereira has just one year ⁣remaining ⁤on his contract with the French‍ capital. This transfer ‌is expected to bolster Al-Ittihad’s defense as they continue their strong start to the season. The⁢ team⁤ has won their first ⁤two matches in⁣ the Saudi League, defeating Al-Khuloud‍ 1-0‍ and Al-Taoun 2-1.
