KBS 2TV’s New Drama “Voice of Dog” Releases Second Teaser Video
KBS 2TV’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Voice of the Dog” (scriptwriter: Byun Suk-kyung, director: Kim Yu-jin) is a sitcom that depicts the amusing growth of active seniors and Sophie, a former police dog, in old age.
The series features a star-studded cast, including Lee Seung-jae, Kim Young-gon, Ye Soo-jung, Lim Chae-moo, Song Ok-sook, Park Sung-woong, former MOMOLAND member Yeonwoo, and Kim Ji-young. The unique premise of solving crimes and accidents through conversations with dogs has been a hot topic even before it airs, suggesting the birth of a drama never seen before.
The second teaser, which has a completely opposite atmosphere to the first, depicts a horrific incident that takes place on Geoje Island, and the people who stand up to solve the incident. The protagonist Lee Seung-jae plays the role of a detective, listening to what the dog Sophie is saying, casting a suspicious eye on someone, and asking, ”Are you the culprit?”
Then, the scenes of Kim Young-gon, who sees something and is frightened, Ye Soo-jung, who looks confused as if she can’t believe her eyes, Lim Chae-moo, who is on the verge of an accident, and Song Ok-sook, who looks surprised, catch the eye. The five people from the broadcasting industry who are staying on Geoje Island have aroused curiosity as to what connection they have to the series of events.
Lee Seung-jae, who by chance learns to understand dog language, and Sophie, who finally finds someone who can spread his words to the world, solve the case together and show perfect harmony. Expectations are high for the first broadcast of “The Voice of Dog,” a healing comedy drama that is full of laughter, emotion, and a heart-warming message.
The Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency selected and supported the production of the drama “Voice of the Dog” as OTT (video distribution service) specialized content. The drama is garnering attention for its collaboration with screenwriter Byun Suk-hyun, who wrote “Nonstop 5,” and director Kim Yu-jin, whose directing skills are recognized by Asian audiences for works such as “Revenge on the Proxy” and “Love Instructions: The Romance Diary of Hunnam and Jung-eum.”
KBS 2TV’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Voice of Dog” will start airing in Korea on the 25th.
