The United States has announced an arms package to Ukraine as part of the visit of President Volodymyr Zelensky. 104 patriot missiles will be provided for air defense. A package of 15347 crores was also announced for other military purposes. Zelensky came to America to seek more help for defense purposes.
Addressing the US Congress, Zelensky said that the country’s sovereignty will not be compromised and that Russia will not surrender. Zelensky thanked the United States for its military and financial assistance to Ukraine.
Zelensky met with US President Joe Biden at the White House. Biden said he would provide more aid to Ukraine. Patriot missiles are provided for air defense. Biden also said that the United States will provide training to use the missile. The US has already given weapons worth Rs 2000 crore to Ukraine.
