Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has launched a new low-cost smartphone ‘Y01A’ in the Thai market.
‘Y01A’ is a variant model of ‘Y01’ which was announced in March this year. On the front, it has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display that supports HD + resolution. Instead of a fingerprint scanner, it provides facial recognition.
Inside, a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage are installed, and the 5000mAh battery supports 10W charging through the micro USB port. It comes with a 5MP camera on the front and an 8MP camera on the back, and runs on Android Go-based FunTouch OS version 11.1.
Other features include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. The price of ‘Y01A’ in Thailand is 3999 baht (about 149,000 won).
