The weather condition is now witnessing rains of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by thunder, in a number of governorates, coinciding with the sun’s great radiance. Temperatures have now dropped in most areas and cold weather has prevailed. The condition of the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to turbulent, the wave height will be from two to two and a half metres, and the surface winds will be northwesterly. Rain now in the governorates
A number of governorates are now witnessing the peak of the sun’s major nucleus, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms, a drop in temperatures, and wind activity.
Areas of the governorates of: Alexandria – Beheira – Qalyubia – Dakahlia – Giza – Menoufia – Kafr El-Sheikh – Cairo – North Sinai – Qalyubia are now witnessing rain.
A statement issued by the Meteorology Department said that the movement of the depression is heading towards the east of the country, and is accompanied by the continued flow of rain clouds over Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, and the northern coasts, which are thundery and accompanied by hailstones falling in some areas.
The statement confirmed that large parts of Sinai are expected to be affected by thunderstorms as time progresses.
