Weather warnings tomorrow in Egypt…rain and thunder now in the governorates (video)

The weather condition is now witnessing rains of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by thunder, in a number of governorates, coinciding with the sun’s great radiance. Temperatures have now dropped in most areas and cold weather has prevailed. Below we review the weather condition now and the weather forecast for tomorrow, Tuesday, and a statement of the temperatures.

Meteorology expects cold weather to prevail tomorrow, Tuesday, during the day in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, as well as Alexandria and the northern coasts, and tends to be warm in South Sinai and the south of the country, and cold at night in most parts.

Meteorology expects moderate rain, which may be thundery at times, to continue on areas of the northeastern coast at intermittent intervals.

The rain expected during tomorrow’s weather in areas of Alexandria, the northwestern coasts, and northern Lower Egypt will be light to moderate.

Tomorrow, light rain will extend over areas of Greater Cairo, South Lower Egypt, the Canal cities, and Sinai at intermittent intervals.

Winds will be active during tomorrow’s weather in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, as well as Alexandria, the northern coasts, northern Upper Egypt, and southern Sinai, at intermittent intervals.

The condition of the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to turbulent, the wave height will be from two to two and a half metres, and the surface winds will be northwesterly. As for the Red Sea, it will be moderate to turbulent, the wave height will be from one and a half to two and a half metres, and the surface winds will be northwesterly.

Rain now in the governorates

A number of governorates are now witnessing the peak of the sun’s major nucleus, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms, a drop in temperatures, and wind activity.

Areas of the governorates of: Alexandria – Beheira – Qalyubia – Dakahlia – Giza – Menoufia – Kafr El-Sheikh – Cairo – North Sinai – Qalyubia are now witnessing rain.

A statement issued by the Meteorology Department said that the movement of the depression is heading towards the east of the country, and is accompanied by the continued flow of rain clouds over Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, and the northern coasts, which are thundery and accompanied by hailstones falling in some areas.

The statement confirmed that large parts of Sinai are expected to be affected by thunderstorms as time progresses.
