An expatriate woman died after falling from a building in Sharjah. A 35-year-old Syrian woman died. The woman fell from the 17th floor of a building in Sharjah on Wednesday morning.
Sharjah Police have started an investigation into the incident. Sharjah prosecutors ordered the woman’s body to be examined at a forensic laboratory. The police had called the woman’s husband and eyewitnesses to question her. Al Buhaira Police Station is investigating the incident.
The building has 46 floors. There is a parking facility and a health club on nine floors. The woman lived with her husband on the fifth floor of the building. This apartment does not have a balcony.

The police searched the flat where the woman jumped. The woman’s mobile phone and handbag were found on the table in the balcony. The husband was working at the time of the incident.
