Women’s curling ‘Tim Kim’ wins 6 world championships… joint lead return

Women’s curling team ‘Team Kim’ defeated Italy and continued their undefeated streak at the World Championships.

Tim Kim defeated Italy 7-4 in Game 6 of the World Championships qualifier held in Prince George, Canada on the 23rd.

After a bye with Scotland’s withdrawal in Game 5, Tim Kim returned to the joint lead with Switzerland with six wins and no losses.

With this, Tim Kim, one step closer to advancing to the semi-finals, cruised towards the tournament’s first medal.

Tim Kim’s best performance at the World Championships was 5th place in 2018.

The best result of Korean women’s curling is 3rd at Chuncheon City Hall, which was led by Kim Min-ji, skipping in 2019.

Team Kim will play the 7th qualifier against Denmark at 1 am tomorrow, and the 8th qualifier against Sweden at 11 am.
