Male comedians are criticized for making anachronistic comments to a group of girls while watching MCs at a university festival in Chungcheong province.

At the festival held at Chungbuk National University on the 29th of last month, girl group IVE, singers Vivi, Tiger JK, Yoon Mirae, and Lil Boy appeared on stage.

The day was hosted by former KBS comedians Bang Joo-ho and Lim Seong-wook. When I left the stage, they said to the audience, “I’m selling the water I left behind.”

Then, referring to popular member Jang Won-young, he added, “Jang Won-young’s water bottle is 50,000 won.”

A netizen who was at the festival at the time criticized, “I felt worse.

Then he said, “Even the MCs are not students, and when I introduced them, they said they were comedians and YouTubers.”

Netizens frowned. They harshly criticized “I’m not ashamed to be shy around young children”, “Old fashioned jokes”, “Those people don’t even know what the problem is”, “It’s not fun on every level”, “What is the difference between sexual harassment and sexual harassment?”

In particular, when pointing out the fact that 4 out of 6 members I have are minors, he was furious, saying, “What kind of accident in hell do you have to say something like that without hesitation?”

Another netizen pointed out, “There are a lot of people who don’t understand the changing times,” and noted, “But it’s not the public, or the entertainers who need to catch it the fastest, so it’s making a lot of noise with just a word.”

On the other hand, this is not the first time that the festival’s MC’s comments have been obscured. On September 2, the MC of the 2022 Songdo Beer Festival made comments such as “Fighting Pong Pong Nam” and “Anyone who will abuse children”, but a controversy arose.

The organizers bowed their heads, saying, “I feel the responsibility. I sincerely apologize.”
