On May 7, Apple officially introduced the new generation iPad Pro model, with many “valuable” improvements such as processor and screen while still ensuring optimal battery life.
M4 processor
The “Apple company” has used the latest Apple Silicon processor for the iPad product line. Apple M4 has 10 CPU computing cores and 10 GPU graphics processing cores, allowing improved graphics processing speed.
However, the most notable point lies in the artificial intelligence processor (neural-engine), capable of resolving 38,000 billion calculations per second, bringing power in AI applications.
Ultrathin
For the first time, the “apple company” introduced a 13-inch size option for iPad Pro, instead of the maximum 12.9 inches as before. Although the expanded area is not significant, when combined with screen technology with thinner borders, the content display area of the new iPad Pro is very impressive compared to previous generations.

Apple created a new generation of iPad that is much thinner and lighter than before. Specifically, the 13-inch iPad Pro version is 5.1mm thick (compared to 6.4mm of the predecessor model), weighing 582g (compared to 685g previously).

OLED Ultra Retina XDR display
This is also the first time Apple uses an OLED panel for iPad Pro, bringing the maximum brightness to 1,000 nits. OLED technology on the iPad Pro M4 is said to be superior to that on the iPhone. For example, Nano Texture technology helps reduce screen reflection, so users can see content more easily outdoors.
USB-C connection
The new iPad generation also marks the end of the Lightning interface. The USB-C port has become the communication standard across the entire Apple ecosystem, from iPhone, iPad to Mac computers.
Apple Pencil Pro stylus
Along with the iPad Pro M4, the “apple company” also introduced the Apple Pencil Pro accessory (priced at 129 USD if purchased with the device). In addition to the existing features of the previous version, the new stylus has the ability to “squeeze” the edges of the pen to command menu display.

The new Apple Pencil Pro is also equipped with a gyroscope, providing maximum support for calligraphy or brush drawing experience. Haptic feedback provides real-time touch-based feedback. In addition, the pen also has a Find My feature to limit loss.
Battery life 10 hours
Apple says that the new generation iPad Pro is still strong enough to last “all day” despite its powerful configuration, beautiful screen, and high thinness.
Specifically, the 11-inch Pro version is equipped with a larger battery, 31.29 Whr compared to 28.65 Whr of its predecessor. However, the battery capacity of the 13-inch version is reduced, to only 36.59 Whr instead of 40.88 Whr.
