European leaders, including Friedrich Merz (Germany’s CDU chairman), Emmanuel Macron (France), Keir Starmer (UK), and Donald Tusk (Poland), traveled to Kyiv to propose a 30-day unconditional ceasefire. They urged Russia to accept it, and the suggested start date for ⁣the ceasefire was Monday. The Kremlin is‌ currently evaluating the proposal.

Initially, senior ⁤Kremlin⁤ officials have shown ⁢criticism of the ⁤ceasefire, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Russia’s ⁣National Security Council, dismisses ‍the peace ‍plans on the‍ platform X, criticizing the​ “coalition” involved. Moreover, the Kremlin has‌ called for ⁢”serious negotiations without preconditions.”
