Barbour Launches Women’s Collection with Alexa Chung as Creative Director
British brand Barbour is set to release its new women’s collection, “THE EDIT BY ALEXA,” designed by Alexa Chung as creative director. The collection will be available at Barbour stores and the official online store from October 1, 2024.
Alexa worked closely with the Barbour team to design vintage-inspired outerwear, clothing, and rain boots, adding a fresh twist to classic styles. The collection includes waxed jackets with tartan linings, colorful quilted jackets, knitwear made by Harley of Scotland, and short boots inspired by Alexa’s Chelsea boots.
Alexa’s history with Barbour dates back to her childhood. “From running through the Hampshire countryside to getting covered in mud at Glastonbury, I’ve been wearing Barbour jackets from a young age,” she said. As Creative Director of the collection, Alexa infuses her enduring relationship with Barbour into every model.
