It is reported that Apple will use a mini LED panel in the 12.9-inch iPad Air model that will be released in May.
This was reported on the 18th (local time), the computer media MacRumors, citing display expert Ross Young.
Ross Young said on his X account: “The 12.9-inch iPad Air will feature the same mini LED display as the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.”
The mini LED display features a new design that uses more than 10,000 cutting-edge mini LEDs across the entire back.
Apple used LCD panels for the 10.9-inch iPad Air. The mini LED panel mounted on the 12.9-inch iPad Air is expected to consume less power.
Meanwhile, Apple plans to unveil the next-generation iPad Pro and iPad Air models in May. The new iPad Pro is the first iPad to feature an OLED display.
