CBS Says Biden’s Presidency: Half of Americans Frustrated

As a result of a survey conducted by US CBS broadcasting on the first year of President Joe Biden’s inauguration, 50% of the respondents said they felt ‘frustrated’ after Biden took office.

‘Disappointment’ was followed by 49% and ‘anxiety’ at 40%, respectively. ‘Satisfaction’ was only 25%.

President Biden’s approval rating stood at 44%, the lowest since the trough in November of the same year, starting with the decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan last summer.

This is the lowest approval rating for any U.S. president in his first year in office since Reagan, with the exception of former President Trump (37%).

The majority of respondents were found to be dissatisfied with the Biden administration’s economic policies and inflation.

The approval rating for President Biden’s economic policy was just 38%, below the average.

Regarding the COVID-19 issue, only 36% of respondents said that the government is responding well.
