[Beijing 7th Reuters]–If the new protein-based coronavirus vaccine from China National Pharmaceutical Group (China National Pharmaceutical Group) is inoculated twice after inoculating the company’s inactivated vaccine twice, it is better than inoculating the inactivated vaccine three times. The research result that the antibody reaction to the Omicron strain is strong was announced on the 4th.

Regarding the inactivated vaccine “BBIBP-CorV” of China National Pharmaceutical Group, research results have been announced that the action of neutralizing antibody on the Omicron strain is significantly reduced compared to the virus strain that was prevalent in the early stage.

Pre-reviewed research reports compiled by researchers from the Synofarm department and Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, an Abu Dhabi medical institution, show that healthy adults 192 more than six months have passed since two doses of inactivated vaccines from Synofarm. When humans were vaccinated with the protein-based vaccine “NVSI-06-07”, the results showed that the level of neutralizing antibody against the Omicron strain was “significantly higher” than when the inactivated vaccine was vaccinated three times.

Antibody data differ from the effectiveness of the vaccine in how much it can prevent Omicron strain infection. The authors of the study report still do not know how long the booster dose of NVSI-06-07 will last.

“NVSI-06-07” was approved for emergency use in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for booster vaccination in December last year.
