The newcomers from the Czech Republic scored their historic first victory. In the top of the 9th inning while trailing by 1 point, the 6th Musik hit a 3 run to come from behind.
After winning the European qualifiers, most of the players are in occupations other than baseball.
Starting pitcher Daniel Padisak (22) showed the early steps. A student attending a US university pushed hard with a 150km/h fastball, 49 pitches in 4 innings, no hits, 4 strikeouts and no runs. The two runners who walked the ball were also dismissed with a double play, ending with 12 batters.
