Elden Ring DLC, gameplay scheduled to be released at midnight today, rumored to be released in June?

The first gameplay video of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Golden Tree, the DLC for Elden Ring that FromSoftware and many Soullike fans are looking forward to, will be released tonight.

The first public trailer was posted through the official SNS and YouTube of Bandai Namco, which distributes Elden Ring.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Golden Tree revealed its existence through the official Twitter about a year after Elden Ring was released, and the only content revealed was a piece of concept art.

Afterwards, no information was released, and although it was hoped that the information would be revealed at numerous game awards ceremonies and game shows, it was kept completely hidden and only rumors abounded.

Of course, last year, the head of Bandai Namco Europe and the producer of FromSoftware mentioned that the release was imminent, but nothing about the game’s contents was revealed.

It seems that the release date of the trailer will be announced along with the release of this trailer, but according to the current leak from China, it is being said that it will be released on June 21st.

Meanwhile, it was confirmed that development of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Golden Tree began in April, immediately after the release of Elden Ring, and compared to the DLC for FromSoftware’s Soullike work, which was released after about a year of development, it took about 2 years to complete. The development period of over a year appears to have been the longest development time among the largest additional DLCs ever.

Accordingly, it is predicted that the scale of the new content will be at the level of an expansion pack, not simply at the level of additional DLC.
