The unexpected visitor caused ⁤quite a stir as locals emerged ‍from their homes to capture the scene on video. “This is unreal,” one woman exclaimed in a video. “Hi, bro, how did you get here?”

Police and a local security company initially tried to contain the seal, using patrol ‍cars to create‍ a barrier. The seal, though, proved to be quite mobile, even resting ⁤his head ⁤on one car and attempting to climb over⁤ another before continuing his journey along the sidewalk ‍toward a shopping mall.Concerns grew as the seal ventured farther from the ocean, raising fears of exhaustion and dehydration.

Ultimately,a team of marine wildlife ⁣specialists and a city veterinarian intervened, sedating the animal and transporting him back to his natural habitat in a nearby bay. The Cape‍ of Good Hope SPCA later shared a ⁤video on social media showing the seal making its way down a beach and into the ocean.

⁢ “Sea you ‍later,” the ⁢video said.
