◇ The Fire Department signed a business agreement with Seonhyeon, a KG group foundation, to support scholarships for children of firefighters who died on the 14th. KG Group plans to support tuition fees until graduation for the children of college students who are committed firefighters and excellent firefighters who have merit in the field. ◇ The Cultural Heritage Administration appointed 26 members and 38 expert members of the 4th Intangible Cultural Heritage Committee on the 14th. Kim Young-woon, director of the National Gugak Center, was elected as chairperson, and Kim Sam-ki, former director of the Cultural Heritage Administration, and Kim Jong-dae, director of the National Folk Museum of Korea were elected as vice chairpersons. The Intangible Cultural Heritage Committee investigates and deliberates on matters related to the preservation and promotion of intangible cultural heritage, and the term of office is two years. ◇ The Seungdal Woori Sori High Beop Preservation Association will hold the 20th Muan National Seungdal Gugak Festival on the 25th and 26th at the Seungdal Culture and Arts Center in Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do.
